The Reno Orthopaedic Clinic has been caring for trauma patients and treating fractures for nearly 50 years. There has been a long tradition of well known fracture surgeons affiliated with the ROC participating in clinical research, producing reviews, and peer reviewed scientific articles. Currently, ROC has the region’s only subspecialty trained fracture surgeons and our specialists help facilitate care with any local physician. Every ROC on-call physician participates in annual fracture education in order to provide our patients with the most accurate and up to date fracture treatment.
Reno Orthopaedic Clinic maintains a leadership roll in the design and management of the region’s only referral trauma center-Renown Medical Center (Washoe Medical Center) as well as providing emergency services in all of the area’s emergency departments 24/7/365. Due to our long history in the community, we are able to coordinate the orthopaedic care with any physician/referral at any time of the day or night.
We specialize in adult and pediatric fracture management and caring for trauma injuries in both children and adults. We also provide advanced treatment options for difficult fracture problems including the pelvis, acetabulum, spine, and articular fractures of the hip, knee and ankle. We also provide reconstructive options for fractures that fail to heal properly including non-union surgery, arthroplasty and application of modern Orthobiological stimulants.
