50 Years of Commitment to Excellent Patient Care
December 5, 2008:
I am a full-time Ski Instructor who suffered a major trauma while training 10 years ago; broken/dislocated hip, rotator cuff, knee, broken ribs and brain bruise. After visiting 3 physicians, I was referred to Dr. Bray who performed and osteotomy on my let hip to give me 8 more years of function, and then a total hip arthoplasty 2 years ago, Since then, my professonal and personal lifestyle has been terrific: I have function, no pain and very little restricitions. Dr. Bray (and Boyden) is the Man. His skills, patient interaction (and Nurse Judy) are the best. ~ D. Yuhas, California
November 6, 2008:
I suffered from a ruptured achilles tendon August 27, 2008. I was very fortunate to meet Dr. Simpson on the morning of my injury at the ER. By 5pm the same day I was on the operating table having my achilles tendon repaired by Dr. Simpson. Before surgery he explained what exactly was going to happen. As I email you tonight I'm 10 weeks post op, am able to wear shoes again as I've been out a walking boot for a week. Also keeping up with my exercises. Have some swelling and tightness, but am told that is normal. I was sorry to hear of Dr. Simpon's departure from Core Orthopaedic in Encinitas. He is friendly, talkative, and makes you feel very comfortable. Reno Orthopaedic has re-gained one hell of a surgeon. Please give Dr. Simpson my best, and tell him I won't hesitate to call him with any questions I may have. ~ G. Franco, Encinitas, CA
